Counselling Faculty

SUMMARY

Briercrest College and Seminary invites applications for a residential or remote faculty position in Counselling, commencing August 1, 2021.

The successful candidate will be responsible for serving as instructor in the MA in Marriage and Family Therapy and Master of Counselling programs, which have established a reputation for placing students in a variety of counselling-related occupations. Preference will be given to candidates who have attained supervisor status with the Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (or equivalent), have an extensive background in Marriage and Family Counselling, a completed Master’s Degree with plans for further studies toward a terminal degree, and demonstrates potential for excellence in teaching, research, and service to the church. Consideration will be given to applicants with ongoing private counselling practice.
